When this house was being built around the original structure, there was not one detail left without thought. From the south facing breezy master bedroom to the hammock on the decks overlooking the lush green valley and the ocean; this is truly a secluded tropical paradise.
The property is set on top of a hill with breathtaking views from your hammock where you will see and hear exotic birds and howling monkeys. In fact, you can see over 100 species of birds from the house porch and a short walk to the Buena Vista River below.
Located off the beaten path near uncrowded beaches, casa mono is a perfect place to get away and adventure. It is a short 10-20 minute drive to the lovely coastal town of Samara BUT you have to cross the river to get to the town. If the river is too high, then you must drive around on the paved road to Samara, which takes about 30-40 minutes. The fishing port of Carillo is about 30 minutes away, and 30-60 minutes to world class surfing beaches on the road north to Nosara. Samara provides a night life, shopping, fishing tours, horseback riding, surfing, zipline adventures and more. Nosara is a beach town set up for yoga, surfing and delicious restaurants.
The house is equipped with fans and an open floor plan offering breezes. The downstairs bedroom has an air-conditioner.
