We are located at about 3 kms away from market area, near Happy Valley Tea Factory. It is most suitable for those looking for a relaxing stay away from the chaos of the crowd. It is motorable, and at a walking distance from Happy Valley Tea Factory, a renowned and must-visit tourist spot. However due to rainfall, the road near the property has been deteriorated hence we do not encourage guests planning to ride/drive themselves.
The space
It is on the second floor with unobstructed view of the tea garden and beautiful hills, clouds and sunset. It consists of three bedrooms; two of them with a view and attached toilet and bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, a common toilet and bathroom, and a huge balcony to enjoy your stay.
Guest access
In addition to the rooms and spaces listed under this property, the guests may also have access to the terrace garden which is accessed and maintained by the host and family. Since the place is located at around 3 kms away from the market area, regular shared taxis are not available till doorstep but the guests may get their own vehicle or book a cab which will cost around Rs. 200-300 (depending on the season and drivers). However, the guests also have the option to walk.
Other things to note
Darjeeling has water scarcity issue. Hence it is very scarce and precious to us. We would like to assume that the guests will use it responsibly. You’ll have to turn off some extra taps to avoid loss of water due to leakages. The guests may also take a walk in the tea gardens at anytime of the day. We have a puppy and an adult dog as well.
