Please note this is an old cottage and some of the floors are not perfectly level and the sliding doors are a bit stiff. We upgrade furniture and dressings from time to time as needed along with different linen so the appearance can differ slightly from the photos without compromise to the functionality, comfort or features most importantly.
Whilst inside is equipped, clean and the beds are quality, overall this house more suited to people who favour outdoor entertaining, large yards, privacy, location and parking amenity over new interiors.

Summary: Such a great property for bringing dogs. The place is so secure and the backyard was big enough for them to roam around and get lots of exploring done. The front yard was also secure and they loved that too. This is definitely a place to go if you like spending your days outside. The deck out the back is so well set up, I can imagine it being great for families as it has a BBQ and even a tv for keeping up with the cricket or tennis scores as you play a bit of backyard cricket with the kids. I enjoyed sitting at the table on the deck with one of my dogs at my feet watching the other explore the yard. The house has a quirky design that adds character to the stay and it made it fun to explore. That quirky design also provided an interesting location for the laundry set up, which was perfect for myself as a dog owner as it meant very easy access for water for the dog bowls. It is also right across the road from a walking path that is great for dogs and skirts the national park. Also, only a few minutes drive away from Bagnalls dog beach which is a 24hr off leash very long stretch of beach. My dogs loved being able to get out their energy running up the beach after seagulls and meeting all the friendly dogs who had come to visit.It was also great being on Shoal Bay Rd as it was hard to get lost going to either Shoal Bay or Nelson’s Bay. My dogs had a great time here, and I highly recommend this location for those of you who are outdoorsy types.
