Positive: Our stay in this house was by far the best accommodation of our three-week trip to India. The place was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The family was incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable tips and assisting us with practical things. They were also very communicative. The location was on the edge of the city, so while there weren’t any major attractions nearby, they were easily reachable with a short rickshaw ride. The trade-off was the peacefulness of the area, with the soothing sounds of chirping crickets, tiny frogs in the garden, geckos, and a variety of tropical bird calls. It was the perfect spot to chill and relax. A highlight was definitely the mother’s cooking. We got to try some amazing dishes that we would never have encountered as regular tourists. Prayag, the family’s son, was incredibly helpful too, always quick to respond and even following up on things proactively. The house itself was cozy, tastefully decorated, and comfortably furnished. It was secure and felt like a real home. If we ever find ourselves in Jodhpur again, we’ll definitely stay here - highly recommended!

Negative: There was no air conditioning, but this was more than offset by the ceiling fans available in every room. Additionally, Prayag informed us about this detail well in advance, so we were fully aware of it when we booked the house.
