A Sweet Studio for One | House in Seaholme

When you want a place to lay your head, have a shower and grab a quick bite before rushing out the door and starting your day all over again, this is the place for you. It’s synonymous with what you may find in Hong Kong but with a beachy vibe. It has its own private entry, a marble bathroom with shower and toilet, its own kitchenette and a sofa bed to rest after a big day. Most of all, you’ll love it’s proximity to the beach and discover the coastal park.
The studio apartment has a marble bathroom and a sweet studio with single sofa bed, kitchenette with portable induction cooktop, microwave, fridge and breakfast bar/desk, clothes storage and a Dyson hot/cool turbo fan. There’s potential to park in front of the entrance if you’d prefer to have your car close by. Please note, 1A is also available for additional guests and both properties can be rented out together if both available. There is a connection between the two properties via an additional electronic keylock which will only be given out if both properties are leased by the one guest group.
The entry is from the back parking area with an electronic key lock. The front lawn is open to be used by all 4 residents. There are 4 units on site, of which the parking area is for first in best dressed. We only have access to one car space, otherwise you have free parking in the court.
In this quiet court in a group of four, so close to the beach that you can smell the sea breeze. Walk to the top of the court, turn right then right again to find a walkway straight to the bay, where you can enjoy the social activities at the Altona Bowls Club, take a picnic with you on the beachfront Cresser Reserve (barbecue facilities), walk up the jetty or Altona Pier or find the perfect section of sand to pull up a beach towel and spend the day at Altona Beach. For those who love nature, Cherry Lake is 600 metres away and has gorgeous walking/bike trails around the conservation area, and there is also Altona Coastal Park with a variety of other walking trails. If you have an adventurous spirit, take a snorkel with you around the Coastal Park walking trails right around to Jawbone Marine Sanctuary to immerse yourself in the reef and the rockpools. For those who want to discover the food culture, Pier Street would be your No 1 stop, where you will find Pier 71 Bar e Cucina, Yo Mama Frozen Yoghury, Hopheads brewery and other popular eateries. Or try The Greek Grill Eatery on Civic Parade for something closer. If you bring your dog, there’s an off-leash beach 200 metres away. For a night in, Pier Street or Miller’s Junction are your best bets for essential needs, as well as Readings Cinemas and day spas at Miller’s Junction. If you’d like to explore more of Melbourne’s South West, you can find Werribee Park Mansion, Werribee Zoo the stunning 3030 Waterfront Harbour dining at Wyndham Vale, summer racing at Werribee Racecourse and kids will love Scienceworks, the RAAF base at Laverton,

Seaholme is a boutique suburb in Melbourne’s West, 16 kilometres from the CBD. There is a train station in Seaholme that’s 1.4 kilometres from our stay. You can also catch the 411, 412 and 415 buses on Millers Road to Laverton, Footscray and Williamstown. Melbourne Airport is 25.5 kilometres away by car, Avalon Airport is 34 minutes away. Catch the train to Southern Cross station to get the Skybus. Taxis and Ubers service this area.
Our place is in a small cul de sac with Dyson heating/cooling and a privacy tinted window to the apartment.
House must be left as received (e.g. if you moved furniture, please put them back). Dishes should be washed (or start the dishwasher before you leave). Please clean up after your dog. Please do not wash the linens and towels before you leave as they will be commercially washed.
Please keep the noise down. Please refrain from causing disturbances to the neighbours. Strictly no parties allowed. Infringement on this rule may result in eviction without refund.
We will ask for photo ID of the person making the booking. For 3rd party bookings, we will need the photo ID of the primary guest staying at the property.
Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited. $200 will be charged if smoking is detected. Illegal substance (including marijuana) cannot be consumed at all, or you will be asked to leave with no refund. Medicinal use of substance can be smoked/consumed outdoor only.
Please be thoughtful and turn off heating & cooling when you are not in the property.
Please don’t disconnect the Internet or Gateway at any time.
If any damage occurs during your stay, or if any appliance does not function, please tell us as soon as possible.
If the Fire and/or Emergency Services are called out due to a guest’s fault (including for false fire alarm call outs), fees will be passed on to you.
Pet fees are applicable and pets should be included when you book. Please don’t leave pets on the balcony as they may bark or meow, and balconies may not be safe for pets left alone.
If you are locked out (e.g. left the key inside the unit, lost the remote), our physical attendance will be charged at $50. Any locksmith or any additional expenses required will be on-charged to you. Loss of key/fob/remote will be charged at cost plus administration fee of $20/item lost.
Check-out time is 10am unless otherwise agreed. If the cleaner cannot clean on time, a delayed entry fee ($10 for every 10 minutes delay) will apply. If you require late check-out, please contact us 24 hours before check-out and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. If you request a very late check-out, another night of booking may be required as we won’t be able to accommodate last minute booking request on the same night.
If you leave any items behind, please advise us immediately. We can post them back to you (except for perishables, flammables, illegal items or items that are impractical to post). We will charge postage cost plus $50 to compensate for our time. We can also store them for $20/item for up to 3 days for you or a friend to retrieve them. We accept no responsibility if any items left behind were missing or thrown out by our cleaners.
Where a porta cot (or any baby/kid item) is provided, this is used at the guest’s own risk. The owner and hosts do not accept any liability should anything occur during its use.
Please ask for our consent if you operate a business from the premises where you will expect visiting customers. This includes consultation, training, buying/selling or any personal services. We are happy to consent depending on risks and the impact on the neighbours.
Our cleaners do their best to provide quality cleaning. Though no one is perfect, and if there is any cleaning issues, please notify us within 4 hours of check-in; and allow our cleaners to rectify those issues in a timely manner.
