Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Breakfast was amazing! Very good local cuisine and a decent choice! The host (Vikram) as well as support staff (Chakith, Ranjitha and Saraswathi) were all not only extremely courteous and seemed to be well-trained for customer interaction! The creativity of Mr. Vikram was on full display in the numerous artefacts that lined up the homestay - very well done!

Negative: There was a large group that was too drunk and too loud - even at dining table. I understand people want to unwind and all kinds of ppl make it to the homestays but there must be some ground rules that hosts enforce. From my experience, if the hosts are a bit clear in setting the expectations early on, they can usually better control such a crowd. Luckily it didn't affect our sleep one bit - we were too tired after the trek ;-) So I hope some steps are taken to prevent loud music/noise (including those due to overdose of alcohol!) to keep the spirit of eco-stay going. The sounds from nature are too good to not enjoy!

Summary: Very nice place and amazing host and support staff!
