Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property is beautiful and exactly as shown in the pictures. We had booked the Villa with the pool, unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the pool. Since we couldn't enjoy the pool the owner offered us to enjoy the sunset on a neighboring Villa's balcony that was over looking the valley. We literally saw clouds below us from there. We had gone for my wife's birthday and didn't find any good bakeries around Murnad. Upon requesting the owner he arranged for a very nice blueberry cake on a very short notice. Also there is a very cute and friendly Golden Retriever and a few ducks and rabbits on the property to play with.

Negative: Since it is almost 20-22 km away from Madikeri there aren't any good restaurants there. So getting Swiggy and Zomato deliveries is not really an option. Also the property does not have it's own restaurant. But they do have an option of ordering food on the property. We ordered the food and it was very good indeed and you can even ask them to customize it to your liking. The only problem is that it has to be ordered at least 3-4 hours in advance.

Summary: Over all I'll say if we were to visit the area again this is definitely where we would like to stay.
